Established in 1983, and located on Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills, since the 1990's, the Law Office of Marshall S. Tauber has been providing high quality individual attention to individual and business clients throughout the State of Michigan.

The primary concern of our office is to assure clients fully understand the nature and potential results that may occur or arise in any legal matter. Fully informed clients are always capable of making better and more intelligent decisions. Mr. Tauber has served thousands of individuals facing criminal charges of all types in both the State and Federal Courts. Protecting the rights and liberties of clients charged with serious felonies as well as misdemeanors, including offenses related to drinking and driving and restoring our client's driving privileges after a license suspension or revocation.

Mr. Tauber has extensive experience in liquor licensing, both in assisting in the purchase and sale of businesses with liquor licenses as well as representing clients in administrative actions before the liquor control commission.

Since Mr. Tauber has served as President [2003-2005] of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, [CDAM], a 600-plus member, independent, Statewide association of Criminal Defense Practitioners dedicated to the ongoing education and training that is necessary for attorneys to remain current and qualified to advise and represent clients charged with criminal offenses in our State's local and Federal Courts. Mr. Tauber has served on the faculty and as a member of the CDAM Board of Directors since 1992 and is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, [NACDL]. Additionally, he has served as the 1995-96 Chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association and as a member of that association's Public Advisory Committee on Judicial Candidates from 1998 through 2002.

Besides criminal defense, our firm also concentrates its practice in the areas of probate and trust administration, small business law, real estate, home purchase and sales transactions and negotiations. Marshall also represents individuals and businesses accused of regulatory and licensing violations. and has years of experience representing dozens of businesses in resolving disputes before they become expensive lawsuits.

Mr. Tauber's history of achievements, familiarity with the area and the longevity of and depth of his personal contacts throughout the State of Michigan and the Detroit Metropolitan region, in particular, combined with his broad knowledge in his areas of practice, are significant in helping clients effectively and efficiently attain their objectives and goals.
